Adviti (“Adviti”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is the recruitment and talent advisory brand operated by HunterZ Research Private Limited, a company incorporated in India with offices in Bengaluru and Coimbatore. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal data when you visit adviti.net (the “Site”), submit an enquiry, or engage us as a client or candidate.

This policy is designed to align with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and other applicable Indian data protection laws. By using the Site or providing your personal data to us, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.

2. Personal data we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact and enquiry data: name, corporate email address, phone number, industry vertical, and hiring budget range submitted through our consultation form.
  • Candidate data: resumes, employment history, educational background, skills, compensation expectations, and references shared with us as part of a search mandate.
  • Client data: company details, role requirements, and contact information of hiring stakeholders.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and usage data collected through cookies and similar technologies, as described in our cookie banner.

3. How we use your personal data

We process personal data for the following purposes, consistent with the DPDP Act:

  • To respond to enquiries and schedule talent consultations.
  • To evaluate and present candidates against open mandates.
  • To communicate with clients regarding search progress and engagement terms.
  • To improve our website, services, and the relevance of our communications.
  • To comply with applicable legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

We rely on your consent at the point of submission for the processing of contact and candidate data, and on legitimate use (such as performance of a contract or compliance with law) where applicable under the DPDP Act.

4. Sharing of personal data

We may share candidate profiles with prospective employer clients solely for the purpose of evaluating a specific role, and only with your knowledge. We may also share personal data with service providers who support our operations (such as IT hosting and email providers), regulators or law enforcement where required by law, and any successor entity in the event of a merger or acquisition. We do not sell personal data.

5. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, to maintain a candidate talent bank for future relevant opportunities, or as required by applicable law. You may request erasure of your data at any time as described in Section 7 below.

6. Data security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights as a Data Principal

Under the DPDP Act, 2023, you have the right to:

  • Obtain a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed.
  • Request correction, completion, or updating of your personal data.
  • Request erasure of your personal data, unless retention is required by law.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.
  • Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.
  • Lodge a complaint with our Grievance Officer (Section 9) and, if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.
